Fused Glass Artist
After retiring from a career in graphic design, I moved to Portland, Oregon to be near family. It was here I stumbled across my second career when introduced to fused glass art. It was love at first firing!
I embrace the beauty in nature as a source of artistic inspiration, and spend much of my time hiking trails and strolling along beaches. It’s also the beauty of glass itself along with the vast possibilities and technical challenges that provide a primal inspiration for me. I often find myself exploring pure abstraction, pattern or subtle symbolic cues. When each new piece emerges from the lava-like temperatures, I feel a strong bond to my new found art medium.
