Original 13” x 13” kiln-formed glass artwork entitled “The Hat” was designed and produced by Portland, Oregon artist David Haberer in 2024. In March 2023, David Smith (a mathematical hobbyist) discovered an aperiodic monotile, which true mathmaticians have since proved to be an “einstein” shape. Google “the hat monotile” to learn more.
